I have wagered on millions of rounds of 21. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the casino.
I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, nonetheless you will experience a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a number of years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a number of days ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first $5 wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 bet
Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager
Wager $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
