I have played millions of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this tactic or beat the casino, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that blackjack appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a few years back with $750 after 60 mins using this method! And a few months ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you notice gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 5 dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original $20 wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
