I have enjoyed countless of hands of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of cash at blackjack. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to beat the game.

I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets very exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this technique! And a couple of weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You must comprehend that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.

Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $5 bet

Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of $10

Bet $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first $10 wager

Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the first $20 bet

Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 bet

Bet 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $80 wager

Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 1 hundred and 60 dollar wager

If you departed at this instance you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
