I have wagered on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the idea that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original amount.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years back with $750 after 30 mins using this technique! And a number of months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you notice betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Wager $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $5 wager

Bet $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of $10

Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first $10 bet

Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of $20

Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager

Wager $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of $40

Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager

Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80

Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet

If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
