I have gambled on millions of hands of 21. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have enjoyed online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it almost impossible to beat the casino.

I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this method or beat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that 21 seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original value.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets very fun at times. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this method! And a couple of months ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar game.

Wager $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 5 dollar bet

Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10

Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 10 dollar bet

Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $20

Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager

Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar bet

Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet

Bet $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 bet

If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
