I have gambled on millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of cash at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet
Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original $10 wager
Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $40 bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar wager
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first one hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
