I have bet on countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have bet on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of funds at blackjack. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or beat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is founded on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets extremely fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a few years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you witness wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Bet 5 dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first $5 wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the first $20 wager
Bet $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
